Stefano De Santis lands on Quattro Bombole with ‘New Beginning’ EP

Stefano De Santis, the contemporary jazz / underground dance maestro hailing from Rome, has just released his latest EP, ‘New Beginning,’ under the esteemed Italian label Quattro Bambole Music. His latest offering comprises four fresh cuts that exemplify Stefano's top-drawer musicianship, as he expertly weaves together an eclectic mix of sounds, incorporating fusions of Jazz, Broken Beat, Boogie, Deep House, and some very cool lo-fi Hip Hop. The EP commences with the chilled and bubbly Jazz-infused soundscape of ‘Roy,’, followed by ‘Lie#3,’ which comes with a rich blend of slow House rhythms and Broken Beats, complete with an infectious bassline. The collection also features ‘Paths’, that comes with a stunning piano performance, and the vibrant 80s Boogie/Broken Beat single, ‘Tokyo 80,’ each showcasing Stefano’s clever keyboard skills. Also on the package is a dope Deep House Dub of ‘Lie#3,’ courtesy of UK producer Sean McCabe and Boogie Café, rounding up another stellar release from one of Italy's finest.

Splitting his time between Rome and London, Stefano De Santis is a conservatory-trained artist and a highly sought-after session musician, making significant contributions across various genres, including Jazz, Funk, Reggae, and Pop. As a solo artist, Stefano has been making significant strides with his innovative blends of Jazz, Funk, and Broken Beat. His discography includes the bossa nova-inspired ‘Barra Nova’ (Mother Tongue Records) and the ‘Unreachable Galaxy’ EP (Ramrock Red), alongside the spiritual jazz endeavor ‘A Kind of Prayer’ and the Jazzfunk 7-inch ‘Santos ’79,’ both released through Colin Curtis.
