Sisko Electrofanatik and his record label Gain Records start 2024 with an acid techno release by Massimo Logli.
Massimo Logli is an eclectic music producer who has showcased his deeper side with melodic tracks on labels like Freegrant Music, but this fiery release highlights the dark and aggressive side of his sound. This is the first time that Massimo has worked with Gain Records, and it follows peak time techno releases on the likes of Hollen’s Prospect and Frankyeffe’s Riot Recordings.
Alongside the original track, there is also an impressive remix by Sisko Electrofanatik who works in some old-school flavour with a new melody line. This is Sisko Electrofanatik’s first official release of 2024, and it follows a big 2023 where he made a debut on Terminal M alongside releases on other prestigious record labels.
Opening the release, the original mix of “Lolita” has an atmospheric opening with trippy vocals and tension building synths. The groove gets going when the slamming kick drum and fast-paced hi-hats take hold, then track builds with intensity as the acid-line grows its dominance.
Sisko Electrofanatik makes psychedelic use of the original’s vocals as he works in an uplifting breakdown with cinematic chords alongside the uplifting tones of an old-school synth sequenced into a hypnotic arpeggio.
