For SHADU, the title track represents a turning point in her life and her music. “Lost & Found is a very personal track for me,” she shares. “A few years back, I nearly lost the person I loved. His life was in danger. That day, my life was divided into before and after.” This life-altering experience, she explains, led her to reassess her values and ultimately turn to music to express her emotions. “I swore to myself that I would never live like I did before. I will learn to value every moment of my life.” The track’s soaring lyrics — ‘Lost and found in the echoes of my mind / I’m gonna shine, shine, shine / I’m gonna shine, shine, shine’ — echo SHADU’s newfound vitality and her journey towards reclaiming her passions.
As she explains, Lost & Found blends intricate percussion with emotive melodies to create an intimate and universal sonic journey. SHADU’s ability to merge soulful emotion with vibrant, danceable rhythms is a hallmark of her music, evident in both tracks. “For me, it’s all about finding that sweet spot between emotion and energy,” she reveals. “When you’re on the dancefloor, I want you to be able to let go, dance, and feel a boost of energy from the beats. I also hope you find the answers you’ve been searching for.”
The second track, Voices, takes a darker, more hypnotic direction, exploring the emotional depth SHADU has become known for. “When I was writing ‘Voices,’ I was exploring a darker side of my musical palette,” she explains. “I wanted to create something that was both haunting and alluring, something that would draw you in and leave you feeling unsettled.” The track’s trance-like grooves and layered textures transport listeners into a world where the boundary between the mystical and the real fades away.
SHADU’s journey as a producer has been equally transformative. Starting as a vocalist, she quickly gained attention for her powerful voice and dynamic delivery. It’s a joy and so much fun for me to share my passion with them. I give it my all, and I think that’s probably why I’m so full of energy on stage. It’s incredible how much energy I get from my audience.”

With the ongoing challenges her hometown of Kyiv faces, SHADU has found strength in her artistry, focusing on making music for a global audience. “Kyiv hasn’t really influenced my music because I create music for the whole world,” she explains. “Music speaks a universal language, it allows me to share my message of hope and resilience with everyone, no matter where they’re from. I believe music can bring us together and create a sense of unity.”
