UK DJ, producer, and label owner Rossi. is stepping out of the DJ booth and into the kitchen with his new series, homecooked. Premiering ahead of Miami Music Week, the innovative cooking show blends food, music, and meaningful chats, offering fans a fresh and intimate glimpse into their favourite artists' lives.
Each episode sees Rossi. cooking alongside a guest DJ, who shares their favourite dish and personal stories. Conversations range from lighthearted banter to deeper discussions, providing an authentic look at the personalities behind the decks.
Explaining the inspiration, Rossi. said: “With homecooked., we wanted more than just a podcast - a space where artists could connect beyond the decks, cooking food and sharing genuine conversations. Food and music are universal languages, and this project has been simmering for six years. It’s amazing to finally serve it up.”
Season 1 boasts an exciting lineup including BBC Radio 1’s Sarah Story, gettraum's Traumer, You&Me’s Josh Baker, and Microhertz founder Archie Hamilton - who kicks off the series.
To celebrate the launch, Rossi. recently hosted a private pop-up at The Black Horse Pub in Camden, blending an exclusive screening of the first episode with live DJ sets in an open kitchen setting. Attendees got a taste of the unique fusion homecooked. promises.
Looking ahead, Rossi. plans curated pop-ups and streamed events featuring diverse artists. These immersive experiences will be accessible globally via YouTube, bringing the authentic homecooked. atmosphere to fans everywhere.
