Richard Earnshaw's Hot New Take On Wish & Fonda Rae 80’s classic, ‘Touch Me’



Under his various collaborations and guises, Spiritchaser, One51 and Inner Spirit, Producer, DJ, label owner Richard  Earnshaw has worked with some great artists over his long and successful career, including Roy Ayers, Jocelyn Brown, Natasha Watts, Ursula Rucker, among many. And through his releases on labels such as Soulfuric, Defected, Reel People Music, Peppermint Jam, Hed Kandi and Ministry of Sound, along with those on his co-owned Duffnote, One51, and Guess Record labels, Richard has made hugely prolific contributions to the dance music scene.  



‘Touch Me’ was originally a hit for soulful diva Fonda Rae & Wish in the mid 80’s, and the song also went on to be a hit for Debbie Gibson in the early 90’s. And now, with a groovy 2024 twist and a tip of the hat to the 80’s, Richard Earnshaw delivers a fresh new take on the song for Mark Knight’s soulful label Fool’s Paradise label. Crafting one of his top drawer seductive grooves full with lush keys and pads, funky beats and a sing-a-long catchy vocal, Richard respectfully brings this dance floor fave right up to date for a whole new generation.
