Premiere: Tennan - Kickin' [Issues]

Man with short dark hair in a black shirt, looking serious. Gray background, focused facial expression. No visible text.

Ahead of its official release tomorrow on Detlef’s Issues label, we’re bringing you an exclusive first listen to Tennan’s ‘Kickin” – a rolling, underground minimal deep tech weapon that’s already turning heads. Grab your copy via Beatport HERE.

Greek-born, Leeds-based producer Tennan has built a solid reputation for delivering tight, groove-driven productions, and ‘Kickin” is no exception. From the very first beat, the track locks into a hypnotic rhythm, driven by a catchy analogue bassline melody that pulses through the mix. The low-slung groove keeps the momentum flowing, underpinned by crisp drum programming and subtle percussive textures that make it a serious tool for DJs looking to keep the floor moving.

There’s a raw, stripped-back energy here that speaks to Tennan’s deep tech sensibilities. ‘Kickin” is designed for intimate, sweatbox dancefloors, where the bassline does the talking, the groove dictates the movement, and the atmosphere is thick with rolling underground energy.

With support from some of the biggest tastemakers in minimal deep tech, this one is bound to find its way into heavy rotation. If you’re a fan of Enzo Siragusa, East End Dubs, or Rossi., this track is right up your alley.

Listen to ‘Kickin” exclusively before its official release tomorrow, and get ready to hear it cutting through dancefloors worldwide.

Out 7th March on Issues – make sure to grab a copy and test it in the mix.
