Hailing from the UK, Baylee Brown is one of many rising talents within the deep tech genre, with his signature style earning support from top names like Jamie Jones, Wade and Paco Osuna to name a few. His tracks have been lighting up dance floors at major venues and festivals, including Sunwaves, Pacha, Ushuaïa, and Warehouse Project.
Baylee says, “Issa Issa first came about with the sample in mind, having heard it in a movie I used to watch while growing up and being stuck in my head ever since I knew I had to try make it work in a track some day. After a morning of searching all of Google and rewatching the movie with Shazam open the whole time I finally found the original song and got to work right away. With the original song being so popular in the US it was only right for it to finally find a home on a US label.”
