London-based electronic music composer and multi-instrumentalist Nodal Edge has announced the release of his latest track, ‘No One Out There,’ featuring a remix from acclaimed artist Saine. The track is out now on One Horse Town (OHT) Records, the label Nodal Edge co-founded.
Nodal Edge’s journey into electronic music has been a long and evolving one. Originally from France, he started out as the founder and guitarist of a rock ‘n’ roll band before exploring jazz and funk guitar compositions. By 2013, he had shifted his focus to electronic production, crafting sounds in Paris before relocating to London in 2018. Since summer 2021, he has been performing live and DJing, first at OHT’s debut release event in Uzès, France, and now organising events in London alongside the Multiplug DJ collective.
‘No One Out There’ marks an important moment in Nodal Edge’s artistic growth. Reflecting on its origins, he explains:
“It’s a strange one, the start of the original track—a pivotal moment in my life. After several years of creating music in solitude, I felt a strong need to involve those close to me in the creative process. By explaining and showing how I built different elements and shaped the final track, I found it easier to convey why I could spend countless hours in the studio.”
The track is a tribute to solitude and creative clarity, highlighting how personal artistic expression doesn’t have to be a solitary pursuit. Nodal Edge found particular joy in sharing his work with Saine, an artist he had long admired, who then selected ‘No One Out There’ for a remix.
“That moment made the project feel even more special.”
With its deep textures and immersive atmosphere, ‘No One Out There’ cements Nodal Edge’s reputation for crafting thoughtful and emotive electronic music. The Saine remix adds a fresh perspective, delivering a reimagined version of the track that complements its introspective energy.
