Bradford DJ and producer Newsham steps out on his own with ‘Play It / Selecta’, his debut solo self-release, available now via Bandcamp. Known for his bass-heavy, club-ready sound, Newsham has already made waves in the underground scene, earning support from industry heavyweights like Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Solardo, Bob Sinclar, and Skream. This release sees him fully in control, delivering two tracks built for the dancefloor.
Leading the charge is ‘Play It’, a fast-paced House roller with tight percussion, driving low-end, and chopped-up vocals that keep the momentum high. It’s straight to the point—no filler, just proper club energy.
On the flip, ‘Selecta’ taps into Newsham’s love for Speed Garage, bringing in deep subs, skippy drums, and weighty basslines that give it that unmistakable UKG groove. It’s dark, punchy, and primed for soundsystem pressure.
Newsham has already proven himself as part of Aderfia, the Bradford-based duo known for their high-energy sets and sharp, groove-driven productions.
