The track will feature on his forthcoming debut album ‘First Contact’
16th September
Fast-rising electronic talent Luuk van Dijk has dropped new single ‘Hot Stuff’, out 16th September on his own Dark Side Of The Sun label.
Combining lush pads with driving synths, ‘Hot Stuff’ is a hypnotic, Detroit-inspired techno cut that sees the Dutch DJ and producer flex his production prowess. It marks the first single release from his forthcoming debut album First Contact, out 11th November. Years in the making, it’s a project that Luuk can fully stand behind and be proud of.
“I wrote ‘Hot Stuff’ while Holland was in lockdown and couldn’t wait to release it ever since,” Luuk explains. “It was one of those tracks that got quite some attention on social media and I’m happy to finally share it with you! While stumbling across the preset of the main chord stabs and making the sequence, it reminded me of that earlier Hot Creations, Diynamic, stripped back synth kind of deep house sound that I really loved when I started digging back in the day.”
One of the hottest new names coming out of Amsterdam’s bustling club scene, Luuk van Dijk is currently making waves in international waters with his infectious take on spirited house music. He has already released on labels like Hot Creations, Cuttin’ Headz, Solid Grooves Records and Eastenderz have established his name as a house music prodigy. He launched Dark Side Of The Sun in 2020 with the aim of exploring a broader approach to his signature style.
Luuk van Dijk’s first single release from his new album sets a seriously high bar.
