Kidoo makes his label debut on Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s MÜSE

Another exciting talent beginning to lay down a marker, having emerged from Romania’s bustling underground, Kidoo is an artist who looks to be making the most of 2023. Building on music via DPE, the past twelve months have welcomed a run of his biggest releases, with debuts on Solid Grooves Raw, Clarisse and Mindshake, and an impressive summer with dates at Paco Osuna pres. Nowhere at Hï Ibiza, Circoloco and Joseph Capriati pres. Metamorfosi at Amnesia. Not slowing down, he brings his minimal-influenced yet punchy sound to Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s label MÜSE as he drops his slick four-track ‘Diggy It’ EP on the imprint.

Title cut ‘Diggy It’ is a production loaded with low-end impact as the driving bassline sets the tone before introducing slinking grooves and playful samples to the mix for a rumbling roller, while ‘No Stoppin’ draws for zippy synths, crisp organic percussion and further vocals to keep the energy levels high. Next up is ‘Real Thing’, another energy-loaded effort marrying shuffling drums and dusty beats, before ‘La Muñeca’ closes the show as the attention shifts to yet more swift and nimble percussion arrangements beneath trippy vox cuts and lively leads for a bright and bubbly cut made for the terrace.

Kidoo's "Diggy" EP is available to buy/stream via MÜSE.
