Jay Vegas is a heavyweight in the current Disco House scene, and has been turning heads worldwide with his signature grooves that are impossible to ignore. Back in the 90s, he was making waves under the aliases Soundscapers and Nu Graduates, teaming up with James Ryan and dropping tracks on legendary labels like Subliminal, Ministry of Sound, and Cream. Fast forward to today, and Jay’s solo game is stronger than ever. He’s been pumping out fire productions and remixes for a killer lineup of labels, including Toolroom, Fool’s Paradise, Guesthouse Music, Salted Music, and Space Disco. The remix roster reads like a who’s who of dance music, featuring legends like Todd Terry, Mark Knight, DJ Chus, Harry Romero, Gene Farris, and Joeski, to name a few.
When he’s not tearing it up on the decks, Jay’s also been running his own label, Hot Stuff Records, for over a decade with recent hits including ‘Can U Feel It’, Say to Ya’ and ‘How We Do’. After last year’s Fool’s Paradise debut ‘Feel The Beat’, Jay’s back on Mark Knight’s label with more discofied heat with ‘Sunshine People’. This track is a nod to Brass Construction’s classic ‘Happy People’ from ’77, reimagined with Jay’s unique flair that blends nostalgia with a modern twist. ‘Sunshine People’ cements Jay Vegas as the go-to guy for top-tier grooves that get the crowd moving.
