Estonian-born DJ/Producer Janika Tenn, relocated to London over a decade ago, where she began a multi-faceted journey towards the sound she has refined today. Described as groovy tech/house, and sometimes laced with darker energy, one common theme is that a Janika production always has an emphasis on percussion, rhythm, and mood. Success has come in signings to such crucial labels as Cr2, Safe Music and Hood Politics, with a flood of A-list support from Loco Dice, Chris Lake, Martin Ikin, and many more. Fulfilling potential outside the studio has also been positively progressive for Janika, where she’s stepped into the booth at many significant events in her native Estonia, as well as at industry gems Fabric, Ministry of Sound and Cuckoo Club.
Brooklyn-born Todd Terry is a pioneering house music producer who defined New York house in the ’80s by blending classic disco, Chicago house, and hip-hop. His 1988 track “I’ll House You” popularised hip-house, influencing the UK rave and hardcore scenes. Terry achieved significant success with his 1995 remix of “Missing” by Everything but the Girl, which sold 3 million copies, and continued to produce hits like “Keep on Jumpin’” and “Something Goin’ On.” Four decades on, Todd Terry remains at the top of his game, with the rolling success of his vinyl only label, Freeze Records, and his continual output of both original and revamped older material. Simply put, Todd Terry is one of the most prolific producers around today.
