Another Brazilian producer has been raising the heat of the local scene with his productions full of groove and class: Lomike. His more introspective sound line, with strong references to Minimal Deep Tech and UK Tech House, has already won over even Jamie Jones, who has been playing his edit of the track “H 2 Da Izzo” in various places around the world.
Now, on just his third release, he released the TGDM EP on Gritty Records and even before the official release he already saw guys like Wheats and Detlef providing support on the title track. Its authentic sound brings a lot of glitches and raw textures that give a different look to his music. You can buy and listen through this link and check out his Hot Picks selection below with some of his favorite sounds of the moment:
Track 01: Goosey - Can U Feel It
A track by a friend I'm always playing, an up-and-coming name in the scene (a really good producer) and on a label that I also always play new releases on, which is CUFF by Amine Edge & Dance.
Track 02: Sosa UK - Dusty Showbiz
This shows my UK Tech House side, I'm passionate about this kind of track, explosive, just the way the dancefloor likes it, I love playing it and the reaction the audience gets.
Track 03: Niteplan - 6 In The AM
Typical British minimal, I'm very inspired by this artist and his productions, this is by far one of my favorites at the moment.
Track 04: Wheats - Off The Wall
My biggest reference in electronic music today... the best in Minimal, this EP was inspired by it, I was listening to it a lot at the time.
Track 05: Joss Moog - Forever Pompin
It defines my gangsta house origins with an elegance that shows the finesse of my musical research.
