Hot Picks: DJ Patisso prints his wide-ranging background on a refined selection

Salvatore Pattisso is certainly one of the centerpieces of the electronic scene in Salento, southern Italy. With more than two decades of involvement in dance music, the artist began his career at the age of 11, when he started out on a local radio station and, to this day, is a prominent figure on radio shows, having passed through some of the biggest Italian radio stations such as Radio Norba, Rete Selene, Radio Manbassa, Radio Rama and more, even reaching international audiences, with his weekly DJ sets being broadcast to different countries in Europe.

But DJ Pattisso, as he is also known, doesn't just keep his skills on the radio channels. With an identity based on House, Deep House and Tech House, the artist has been bringing his background and expertise to the dance floors since 1992, sharing stages and booths with some of the biggest names on the global scene, such as Bob Sinclair, Purple Disco Machine, Sonny Fodera and many more.

Besides his great work as a DJ, the Italian has also shown a growing interest and talent in music production, building up a promising catalogue that includes releases on labels such as Erase Records, Monoside, PPmusic, Moiss Music, Open Bar Music and, recently, his debut on Adesso Music, the label run by Junior Jack and Pat BDS, with the single "Like You". The track reflects the essence of the artist, who develops an efficient groove for dance floors, with heavy beats, strong bass and an impactful female vocal.

You can listen to and buy the track at this link and check out his Hot Picks selection below, with his favorite tracks of the moment:

A classic revisited by an Afro DJ that I have always followed and embellished by a great singer who sang it magnificently. It can't help but be one of my favorite albums.
