Antss is back in business, and he’s not messing about. The London-based DJ and producer makes a hard-hitting return to Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with the ‘Wait A Minute’ EP – out 18th April. Pre-order/Save it here: https://orcd.co/hxt142.
It’s his third outing on the label and a bold follow-up to 2024’s ‘Rave’ EP. The title track hits first – sharp, raw and driven – while B-side’ Verbena’ dives into a deeper, funk-laced groove built for the heads.
With previous cuts on Solid Grooves Raw, What NxT and Moan, plus support from Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati and Dennis Cruz, Antss is clearly on a roll. This new release pushes his sound even further.
Jey Kurmis - Refresh
Killer Kurmis. His tracks work at any time on the dance floor for me: sped up, slowed down. It doesn’t matter what he does with his vocals. He is the best in the game, so good on the ear. If you haven’t listened to this man’s beats, go and treat yourself.
Andre Salmon & Apollo84 - Black Poem, Black Me
Man, I waited about 3/4 years for this track to come out; I first heard it in Jamie Jones’ Paradise closing set. It was such a vibe, and the hi-hat play is lovely.
Wheats - SOUL CONTROL! (Ft. Luna Ash)
This beat is such a vibe, and that vocal just glues it all together; it goes so perfectly that it makes me feel warm inside.
SOSA (UK) - Bring It Back
I remember when I first heard this on a system, I was going b2b with Ash-R in Leeds, and he dropped it; it was absolute filth. Stink-face was activated.
Late Replies - What The Funk
Groovy one here from the boys; that vocal on the drop sounds so so good. Lovely track!
Two cuts. One purpose. Antss delivers the kind of club weapons on ‘Wait A Minute’ that make you stop and take notice. If you’re not watching him already – now’s the time.
