Gabry Ponte and AVAO blow the doors off with a monstrous techno single titled Fuera.
“Fuera” is out on Gabry Ponte’s record label, PENTAPHONIA, and it is a brutal 155 BPM banger that has unstoppable energy led by chanting vocals. It has hulking drums and intense synths that give the track a savage energy, which is in line with the sound of other artists such as Sara Landry and I Hate Models.
PENTAPHONIA is a record label that Italian artist Gabry Ponte has set up to be an outlet for the harder side of his sound, and via the imprint he has released tracks made in collaboration with the likes of Sisko Electrofanatik and T78.
AVAO are a duo of Dutch artists who have a big room style that has been released by labels like Revealed Recordings, Armada and A State of Trance. They have dominated dance floors with performances at nightclubs like London’s iconic Ministry of Sound, and played headline sets at festivals like Romania’s Untold Festival.
Before releasing solo music on labels ranging from Spinnin' Records to Armada, Gabry Ponte was a member of the '90s band, Eiffel 65, which is known for their European chart topping single, "Blue (Da Ba Dee)."
This release is dramatically different from anything Gabry Ponte did as part of Eiffel 65, as its got industrial drums, aggressive energy, and imposing vocals, ensure this menacing techno track has an underground sound.
Distinctly different from what people might expect in comparison to what Gabry Ponte and AVAO have released previously, this industrial sounding track would be perfectly placed in a DJ set by someone like Rebekah or AnD.
