Since its inception in 2022, Indira Paganotto’s ARTCORE Records has been at the forefront of the electronic dance world. The label has made an indelible mark on the techno landscape with an unrelenting commitment to high-quality, cutting-edge releases. Throughout 2024, ARTCORE’s continuous output of singles, EPs, and its iconic 2-part VA series demonstrated its prowess in curating dynamic techno experiences. ARTCORE also took its electrifying presence on the road, selling out shows across Europe, South America, and Asia. As the year drew to a close, it became clear that ARTCORE was more than just a label; it was a movement shaping the future of contemporary techno.
Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be just as monumental for ARTCORE.
The label continues pushing boundaries with a double EP format from two different artists, combining the raw power of Mexico’s Interactive Noise with the fresh sounds of Brazil’s Avan7 & Becker. This release marks the first of the new year, and as expected from ARTCORE, it’s no ordinary drop. Interactive Noise kicks off the EP with ‘Tokyo Core,’ a track inspired by the personality of a yakuza character from the movie “Like a Dragon.” With trance-infused bass stabs, orchestral fills, and ominous pads, ‘Tokyo Core’ evokes a moody yet euphoric atmosphere that intensifies as the beat progresses. For Interactive Noise, this track is a testament to the power of harnessing cinematic influences within a high-energy techno framework.

“Tokyo Core” was born out of a profound moment of inspiration. “The idea of ‘Tokyo Core’ was born right after watching the movie ‘Like a Dragon,’” Interactive Noise explains. “The movie filled me with so much energy about the personality of a yakuza, so I decided to create something with that feeling, something with such power that it would reverberate on stage.” Interactive Noise recalls the first time he played it live at an ARTCORE showcase in Colombia—an experience that left him deeply moved. “Believe me, that’s exactly how it felt when I played it live for the first time.”
The collaboration with Avan7 & Becker introduces a new dynamic to ARTCORE’s ever-expanding sound. Their track ‘Meru’ opens with a visceral, guttural vocal sample that conjures a tribal atmosphere, instantly luring listeners into an immersive, otherworldly experience. As fierce grooves and metallic synths rumble into the mix, the track evolves into a cosmic whirlwind of ethereal melodics and fast-paced percussion. The combination of organic and futuristic elements on ‘Meru’ creates a stark contrast that proves just how well ARTCORE continues to blend the ancient and the contemporary in its releases.
Interactive Noise returns to close the EP with the stirring anthem ‘Warrior Inside Me.’ This track stands out for its anime-inspired vocal samples, paired with a rhythm that intertwines seamlessly around the vocals. “It’s a standout track,” says Interactive Noise. “With a simple but powerful melody, it’s a mix between psytrance and techno, and whenever I listen to it, I feel like a warrior ARTCORE.”
Despite its roots in psytrance, this EP marks a shift for Interactive Noise, one that embraces new sonic territories while staying true to his signature style. “I think music is broad enough to capture different emotions,” he shares. “In the end, we are human, and what we do is feel. I always try to create different profiles of emotions, from something dark and aggressive to something happy or melancholic.” This diversity of feeling is integral to the evolution of his sound, which has grown more distinctive with each release. “The trick is always to sound like yourself,” Interactive Noise emphasizes. “I’ve managed to achieve that. 95% of people who know my sound can identify me within a few seconds of hearing it.”
Psytrance and techno have taken over the world stage, particularly over the past decade, and Interactive Noise is no stranger to this evolution. “To be honest, this style of psytrance-techno fusion is something I was doing 10 years ago, and now it’s back. It’s just a proper evolution of that concept,” he explains, referencing his breakout track ‘Ninja World’ from ARTCORE’s OFF-Sonar VA in 2024. “That song was a big step forward for me. It consolidated the sound I’m currently developing, and many people loved it, along with ‘The Punisher.’ These new releases on ARTCORE are of that same concept.”
Reflecting on ARTCORE’s rapid ascent, Interactive Noise is humbled by the label’s incredible growth and global influence. “I’m impressed with the work the ARTCORE team does. It’s the first time I’ve seen a label grow so fast. It’s certainly because of the dedication and effort they put in, and I love working with ARTCORE. They always inject me with all the energy they emanate.”
Looking forward to 2025, Interactive Noise is keen to push the boundaries even further. “The cinematic side is a good tool to give an epic and deeper touch to the tracks,” he says. “Personally, I love giving my music that touch and you’ll definitely hear it more in my upcoming tracks.”
This year is set to be a major one for Interactive Noise, with numerous ARTCORE showcases scheduled around the world. “I’m very excited for this year,” he says with palpable enthusiasm. “I’m going to release a couple of singles before my fifth studio album. It’s going to be a big year for me.” As ARTCORE continues its global takeover, Interactive Noise is poised to lead the charge with new music, fresh experiences, and an unwavering commitment to creating powerful, boundary-pushing techno.
