Olympia, the lead single and opener from house duo Frank & Tony’s (Francis Harris and Anthony Collins) upcoming album Ethos on Scissor and Thread, rises, vaporous and compelling, from some mythic place, obscure and majestic as the song’s namesake.
This is largely thanks to the orphic vocals lent by Eliana Glass, whose own solo full-length debut (also produced by Harris) will be released in late 2024.
Her third track released in partnership with the pair, Olympia is a perfect ceremonial that thrums thanks to Glass’s lyrics, which function as a meditation on the name itself that sits perfectly in her reedy, devotional lower register.
