DJ Planet Express returns with "Big Life II" on No Content Records Inc.

Record Sounds Like: This ep can sit next to Mall Grab, Kettama, Skin on Skin, DJ Heartstring

No Content Records Inc. unveils Big Life II - the latest EP from DJ Planet Express and the second instalment in a trilogy of club-focused records. Drawing deeply from the late 90s club sound, this collection delivers four tracks that capture the energy and emotion synonymous with that era, while pushing all the right buttons for contemporary dancefloors.

Whilst this record offers something new for the artist - stylistically speaking, we still get that DJ Planet Express sound, pitched up vocal treatments and emotional sound palette that resonates with full effect. Rooted in uplifting Piano House, paired with driving 4x4 beats, this release is poised to become a favourite. Through the EP he explores a few different ideas, from Melodic Trance with rich synth leads and stabs, all high-energy, dancefloor-ready hammers that define the DJ Planet Express sound.

With artwork by long-time collaborator memory.pig, Big Life II is part 2 of a cohesive artistic statement, reflecting the nostalgic yet forward-thinking visions of DJ Planet Express. As the artist himself puts it, this EP is “filled with club-ready tracks, made primarily with early 90s synthesizers and heavily processed 909 drums” which I am sure we can all agree...are the best kind of 909 drums.

Artist Quote - "Big Life II the second part of the Big Life trilogy, and is an EP filled with club ready tracks, made primarily with early 90s synthesizers and heavily processed 909 drums."
