David Morales has had an immense summer holding down a busy tour schedule, rocking the decks everywhere from NYC, Ibiza to Mykonos, Croatia and beyond, as well as a releasing a massive output of music this season, and the quality tunes keep on coming! Following a couple of recent specials for the Bandcamp fraternity, including ‘Smalltown Boy’ and ‘You and Me’ featuring Antoinette Dunleavy, David returns to his real underground roots with a fiery new Bandcamp exclusive, ‘Nanananena’, on his DIRIDIM label. This production is propelled by a warm, tribal percussive rhythm reminiscent of the early 2000s, creating a proper ‘let’s get down to business’, groove. David’s earthy beats are layered with hypnotizing vocal chants, warm piano melodies, atmospheric synths, and culminate in a stunning keys solo creating quite a trip!
