Dance Music Archive (DMA) is celebrating one year of its daytime warehouse parties with a special edition on Saturday, 5th April at Project House, Leeds. Following the format of its Kisstory radio show, DJs will craft sets spanning 1990-2005, each focusing on a specific period to revive lost classics, deep cuts, bootlegs, and iconic remixes.
This 5-11pm event is all about musical storytelling. The lineup remains secret, allowing the music to take centre stage. Expect a diverse, music-loving crowd, an intimate warehouse setting, and outdoor spaces to enjoy Leeds’ best independent food vendors. Tickets start at £25 + bf via Dance Music Archive.

DMA was founded during the pandemic when Andi Durrant, a respected DJ and producer, decided to organise his vast archive of mixes, radio shows, festival sets, and memorabilia. This led to Dancemusicarchive.com, a unique historical collection of dance music from the 1980s to the 2010s, featuring forgotten moments, exclusive tapes, and deep-dive insights into the scene’s evolution.
Beyond the archive, DMA has gained a reputation through its radio show, airing on Kisstory (Sundays, 7pm) and Kiss Dance (Saturdays, 5pm). Hosted by Andi Durrant, the show highlights underground gems, influential tracks, and lost classics, giving listeners a deeper understanding of the genre.

Durrant is a leading figure in UK dance music, with a career spanning Galaxy and Capital FM residencies, global DJ sets, and 130+ releases. His expertise has guided DMA to win Best Entertainment Music Programme at the New York Festival Awards.
The anniversary event isn’t just about nostalgia—it’s a fresh take on dance music’s evolution. Expect a deeply curated soundtrack, incredible food from Twisted Kitchen and The Otley Burger Company, and a passionate crowd.
