Cristoph lays down new single ‘Where Do We Go,’ the second instalment of his debut artist album now unveiled as Life Through A Different Lens. Out 9th April 2025 on his own Consequence of Society Recordings.
Rhythmic house number ‘String Thing’ dropped last month in its full extended mix format, alluding to listeners that the conceptual album soon to follow will spare no sonics and is focused solely on the journey. A rare notion in today’s musical landscape that edges producers evermore towards a high-speed, high-volume state of mind. Cristoph politely declines and follows suit with transformative seven-minute long-player ‘Where Do We Go.’
Dark electro meets art-rock as Cristoph masterfully cuts and samples lyrics “where do we go from here now that all of the children are growing up?” on loop from an ‘80s original. Emblazoned with nostalgic soul, ‘Where Do We Go’ is clean-cut and contemporary in production style. Navigating through the composition with optimistic synths and dynamic tempo switches designed with a live dancefloor in mind and a mission to transport.
‘Where Do We Go’ is the second clue set to spark even more curiosity in Life Through A Different Lens, where under the freedom of his own record label COS Recordings, Cristoph appears to champion an even stronger desire to push the limits of his own production.
To mark the album release with fans, Cristoph coincides the launch of his O2C North America and Canada 2025 tour of exclusively open-to-close shows starting 11th April 2025. Homing in even deeper on what has always been his core ethos; community above all.
‘Where Do We Go’ is the new single from Cristoph’s forthcoming album, Life Through A Different Lens, out 9th April 2025 on Consequence of Society Recordings.
