Clif Jack drops a two-track peak-time techno EP via the Lowlita record label run by Anna Tur, Gonçalo Miranda, and Hosse.
Based in the Italian city of Padova, Clif Jack makes his debut on Lowlita following a string of high-profile techno releases on labels such as Reinier Zonneveld's Filth on Acid and Simina Grigoriu's Kuukou. He also boasts an impressive back catalogue including releases on labels ranging from Deborah De Luca's Solamente to Veerus' Le Club.
Continuing to assert himself as one of techno's most exciting new talents, Clif Jack is already well known within the Italian scene, where he regularly performs on the same line-ups as international artists including the likes of Nicole Moudaber, Ilario Alicante, Luigi Madonna, and Richie Hawtin.
"Don't Tell Me" opens the release with the rippling tones of its acid lead synth and ominous vocals that add to the track's intensity. Its slamming kick drum and rumbling bassline provide the robust foundation for the devastating groove that unfolds with building momentum.
"Take My Breath" is a deeper and more melodic cut, but it still packs a punch with a thumping kick drum and thrashing hi-hats. Its deep chords and hypnotic melody are layered with emotive vocals to create an immersive groove that radiates heat across the dance floor.
