Inspired by Chris Savor’s journey to Margine Rosso, a serene neighbourhood in South Sardinia along Poetto Beach, Rosso evokes a sense of peace and homecoming. Its heartfelt lyrics—“just lie down, everything is fine now”—reflect the tranquillity of finally finding a place of belonging after years of struggle. Stendahl’s delicate touch seamlessly blends with Chris’s vision, resulting in a beautifully harmonious and immersive sonic experience.
Chris Savor has built a reputation for his emotive and atmospheric sound. His previous releases, Be So Cold and Medano, received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and SXM Chill, with Medano enjoying a six-week run on SiriusXM Chill. Stendahl, known for his melodic and piano-driven productions, has had significant support from Apple Music and SXM Chill, where his track Tribute, Chapter III has remained in golden rotation since 2021.
Chris Savor’s journey began with producing for Leave to Remain, a musical by Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke that fused UK dance music with West African highlife. In 2024, he collaborated with Ollie Heron (Lilly Era), 2FarAway (Soave), and Jason Uechi to create Disappear, a chill electronic EP released on Stereofox, which amassed over 600,000 Spotify plays and received radio support across SiriusXM Chill, BBC Radio, and European stations. His single Be So Cold was released via Sekora in collaboration with LAR (Anjunadeep) in December 2024.
Stendahl’s musical journey started in 1996 with the piano, drawing inspiration from artists like Robert Miles, ATB, The Prodigy, and Brian Culbertson. As a producer, he debuted in 2014 on Silk Music (now Monstercat Silk) and has since released music with Enormous Chills, Armada, and more. His genre-blending style and signature piano touch set his music apart, accumulating over 6 million streams and reaching a global audience.
