Charlotte De Witte Unveils Debut Album With Powerful Lead Single ‘The Realm’

Close-up of a person gazing upwards, lips slightly parted with a lip ring. Neutral expression, light eyes, gradient background.

It’s finally happening. After 15 years of pushing techno forward, Charlotte de Witte has announced her long-awaited debut album. The self-titled LP lands 7 November via her own imprint, KNTXT.

But fans won’t have to wait that long to get a taste...

On 10 April, Charlotte drops opening track and lead single 'The Realm' - a thumping, acid-drenched statement piece that’s already been tearing through her sets. Fast, lean, and loaded with tension, The Realm' blends tight techno percussion with anthemic spoken vocals: “enter the realm of the unknown.”

She calls it “a doorway into the unknown,” and a track that captures the energy and philosophy behind the full album.

“This is the most personal project I’ve ever worked on,” she says. “It’s not just a collection of tracks, it’s a reflection of who I am, where I come from, and what continues to drive me: the dancefloor.”

The album follows a string of huge moments for the Belgian artist this year - including a sold-out three-night takeover of Flanders Expo (over 70k tickets sold) and an unannounced hometown street party that pulled massive crowds.

Having already dropped 25 EPs across a decade and a half of global touring, the debut LP feels like a new chapter.

“After 15 years of DJing, travelling, and living life through music, releasing my debut album feels surreal,” says Charlotte. “There’s a tension and release in the structure that mirrors the feeling of letting go, of stepping into something bigger than yourself.”

The Realm' is out 10 April on KNTXT.Charlotte de Witte’s debut album arrives 7 November.
