Initially released in 2000, “Hide U” quickly became a staple, particularly within Fabio’s deep groove sets at Swerve. It evolved into a drum and bass anthem, gaining international acclaim and securing its place in the hearts of club-goers worldwide. Sian Evans’ haunting vocals, set against a backdrop of unique rolling beats and stuttering grooves, created an unforgettable experience that resonated deeply with audiences.
A New Era of Sound
The 2024 Reload features three distinct remixes, each offering a fresh take on the classic. Mozey’s mix starts by paying homage to the original before introducing a staccato, rhythmic, and metallic earworm that leads into a raucous soundscape. René LaVice’s remix takes a darker turn, twisting Sian’s vocals into a menacing drop that captures the conflicting emotions of the lyrics, building into a crescendo of euphoric bass.
