Brighton Music Conference (BMC), the UK’s leading electronic music industry event, returns from 21st to 23rd May 2025 with a packed programme of panels, workshops, networking events, and DJ sets. Now in its 12th year, BMC continues to bring together top industry professionals and emerging talent, offering an affordable and welcoming space for learning, collaboration, and career development.
New for Brighton Music Conference in 2025: Health, Wellbeing & Lifestyle
One of the standout additions to this year’s BMC is its increased focus on health, wellbeing, and lifestyle. The industry’s mental health challenges are well documented, and BMC is taking an active role in addressing key issues like burnout, neurodiversity, addiction, and hearing protection.
Skiddle has been announced as the headline sponsor of the first-ever ‘Health & Wellbeing Theatre,’ which will host discussions on mental health, spiking awareness, and the pressures of motherhood while touring. Highlights include:
Tonic Music’s session on severe and enduring mental illness in the industry
Sally Freeman’s ‘Eat Sleep Rave Relax’ talk on health and resilience
ACS’s panel on tinnitus awareness
NTIA’s ‘Listen for Life’ initiative to prevent hearing loss
Daily yoga and a healing sound bath for attendees
BMC director Billy Mauseth shared: “With first-hand experience of friends and colleagues struggling with their health, I felt it was important to do more on this topic at BMC. We’re grateful to Skiddle for supporting this initiative.”
