Release marks his debut on Deep Kollective, a sublabel of the renowned Sneja Recordings
Rafael Bossi may be a new name in music production, after all, the artist started releasing his own music in 2018. But on the dancefloors, his name is already well known. The Brazilian has more than 20 years of experience, having started his career in discotheque in 1999, following the transition from cassette tape to CD, and since then he has kept up to date with the movements and trends of the scene.
No wonder Bossi arrived in the studio with the right foot. Motivated to generate appreciation, create feelings and connect people through music, the artist brought all his expertise and baggage from the dancefloors to his productions. The result? An authentic and danceable sound, which runs along the lines of House and Techno.
After releasing on sought-after labels such as Whoystro Music, Crono Records and more, Rafael arrives at Deep Kollective, a sublabel of the renowned Sneja Recordings, a South African label run by DJ and producer Sneja, which is considered a house label and is signed by the big name in Afro House, Black Coffee.
Ready to dance?
As the name of the EP suggests, Bossi is betting on an energetic and engaging aesthetic for Bailar - dance, in Spanish - which has great dancefloor potential. The title track brings in influences from Caribbean music, through an enveloping harmony of swings, which are joined by bass lines. Next up, "Gentle" keeps the energy going with its percussive line and catchy synths.
Bailar EP is now available on all digital platforms. Listen now:
