The duo, consisting of Louis Köhler and Paul Vogler, draws from the rich history and innovative spirit of Berlin’s techno scene. The inspiration for “Flight Tracker” came during a whirlwind US tour in spring 2024. While busy building their studios, Köhler and Vogler found time to create the track during a layover in Chicago. “You can track a flight, but none of our unreleased,” they joke, recalling the spontaneous moment that led to the song’s creation.
Since launching in 2020, BAUGRUPPE90 has become one of the most-watched acts in techno, known for their ability to blend futuristic and vintage elements.
