Bauarbeiter der Liebe get Haunted on Phonique's Zatar Music

New on Zatar Music, the new label by Phonique, is a three track release by Bauarbeiter der Liebe.

The EP kicks off with the title track, Haunted, a low-slung house groover with an amazing vocal. The track showcases incredible production, merging sparkling synths with killer drums and a warm, melancholic feel. The vocal is something else, delivered in a husky, world-weary tone with honest, crafted lyrics that push this track into the realm of classic.

The EP is augmented by two additional versions, one from the label boss himself Phonique, who toughens up the groove and leads the track into deeper territories. It’s honed directly for the dancefloor, but maintaining the essential elements that make the track so special.

Also included is a radio version which focuses on the crossover potential of the vocal.

Bauarbeiter der Liebe (Love Builders) managed to hack the the usual club night. The combination of back-to-back DJ action by Lutzer and Tille with interspersed improvisations by Pätte from trumpet, keys or bass works multidimensionally. Playlist and dancing crowd unite euphorically and the atmosphere is particularly special when the music is filtered out and Pätte's trumpet reverberates through the room. Then these fleeting moments arise in which you feel that this is the right place at the right time with the right crowd.

Patrick Föllmer, Lutz Hartmann and Tilmann Jarmer have already released music together as “Lilabungalow”, “Klinke auf Cinch” and “Alfred Quest”. Bauarbeiter der Liebe sound more like a club by comparison.
