Big news for ANOTR fans: the celebrated duo Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney have just revealed that their second album, On A Trip, will be released on January 31, 2025, through their No Art label. Following the huge success of their debut album, The Reset, which featured the unforgettable track Relax My Eyes, this new LP sees ANOTR pushing into uncharted musical territory. Moving beyond house and electronic sounds, On A Trip embraces live instrumentation and collaborative songwriting that brings in influences from funk, soul, and other unexpected genres.
The singles How You Feel featuring Erik Bandt and Leven Kali, and 24 (Turn it Up) featuring Kurtis Wells, have already given us a taste of ANOTR’s new direction. In the last year and a half, the duo has taken musical retreats around the globe — from Amsterdam to LA — working with a diverse mix of artists in experimental settings that let them go all-in on creativity. The result is an album that’s not just genre-defying but also a visual and conceptual journey, tied together by the duo’s open-minded approach to art.
To celebrate, ANOTR is going on a world tour with ANOTR presents On A Trip, bringing this new sound to life in an intimate way. The tour starts in Paris on February 7, 2025, and includes dates in major cities like London, Berlin, Bali, Sydney, Melbourne, and their hometown Amsterdam. Unlike their usual No Art showcases, these shows will be an immersive experience that dives deep into the new album, with exclusive listening sessions in each city to give fans a behind-the-scenes listen.
