Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2024 Unveils Second Wave of Artists and Exciting Opening Specials

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s largest festival and conference dedicated to electronic music, has just announced the second wave of artists set to perform at its 2024 edition. Scheduled to run from October 16-20, ADE 2024 is expected to host over 1,000 events and showcase over 3,000 artists, solidifying its reputation as the most comprehensive gathering for electronic music enthusiasts worldwide. Among the newly confirmed artists are heavyweights such as Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, and Moodymann, alongside rising stars like Anyma, KI/KI, and DJ Heartstring. This diverse lineup promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, catering to various electronic music tastes.


ADE 2024 is also set to feature an array of standout opening concerts in some of Amsterdam’s most iconic venues. Highlights include:

  • Nick Verstand’s new visual spectacle.

  • A unique performance by Eefje de Visser at the Van Gogh Museum.

  • A tribute to J Dilla by the Metropole Orkest at Melkweg.

Other notable events include Greetje Bijma x Oceanic at Bimhuis and Lavinia Meijer x Nikki Hock at Zuiderkerk.


The festival will continue using Amsterdam’s most distinctive locations, such as the Royal Tropical Institute, De Hollandsche Manege, and Stenen Hoofd. Additionally, Tomorrowland will present two Afterlife shows and celebrate its 20th anniversary at Ziggo Dome. At the same time, KI/KI returns to De Bajes, Amsterdam’s former prison space, following last year’s surprise back-to-back set with Armin van Buuren.

The ADE Pro conference will feature insights from some of the biggest names in the industry, including Martin Garrix, Ellen Allien, and Sama’ Abdulhadi. These industry leaders will discuss various topics, from touring and live events to the evolution of the global club scene and the art of reinvention as an artist.


The second wave of artist announcements includes legendary performers and innovative newcomers, such as Boris Brejcha, Paul van Dyk, Kerri Chandler, and Enrico Sangiuliano. They will be joined by an eclectic mix of artists like Juliet Fox, tINI, Tale Of Us, and many others, ensuring that every corner of the electronic music spectrum is represented.
