Akon’s iconic hit “Right Now (Na Na Na)” just got a bold new twist. French DJs NEIRO and Flave (FR) have teamed up for a high-energy Afro House remix that’s already making waves ahead of its official release. With driving tribal percussion, deep bass and electrified textures, the track injects new life into the timeless vocal hook that made the original a global smash. NEIRO has already earned attention in the French scene with his club heater “Kill Dem” featuring Richie Loop, which reached No. 5 in the Top 40 most-played tracks in French clubs. He also lit up the Fun Radio Ibiza Experience 2024 at the Accor Arena in front of 20,000 people.
Flave (FR) brings serious credentials too—he’s worked with Yanis Records (home of “Danza Kuduro”) on a remix of “Koti Ko” by MastaGaan, and collaborated with Tunisian artist Yasmine Azaiez, whose videos have clocked over 185K views. He’s also prepping a new single, “UMA KANA,” a fusion of Afro House and Dance/Electro, dropping soon on all platforms.
The remix was mastered by Antoine Delvig, known for remixing for the likes of David Guetta and Tujamo, and the visual identity comes from Jérémy Lacoste (Studio Fatalis)—sealing this release as a complete audiovisual project.
